Reduced Support Availability: 8th–9th July 2026

Just to let you know, our team will be attending the Harris Computers all-company meeting on 8th and 9th July 2026, so we won't be as responsive as usual during this time.

You can still access our help guides at any time — just search the Help Centre to find the answers you need. Otherwise, you can submit a ticket and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

If your issue is urgent, please set the priority accordingly so we can prioritise it on our return.

Thanks for your patience!

What's the maximum file upload size?

Overview

Onefile allows users to upload files directly into the platform. However, all uploads are restricted by a maximum file size limit. Centre Managers can view and adjust this limit within Centre Settings.

Maximum File Size

  • Default Limit: 300MB

If a file is larger than this limit, you will need to use an external file‑hosting service and upload a link instead.

Steps

How to View or Change the Maximum Upload Size

  1. Click Centre in the navigation bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section.
  4. Scroll to Uploads.
  5. Enter the maximum file size you wish to allow.
  6. Click Save.

Best Practice

  • Keep the limit at 300MB for consistent performance across all users.
  • Use external hosting for large multimedia files and share links instead of direct uploads.
