Tuesday, 19th May 2026, we'll be updating Eportfolio to introduce a range of new enhancements.

Scheduled Downtime: Please note that there will be a brief service interruption between 7:00 and 7:30 AM on the day of the update.

Action required: To avoid any data loss, make sure you're logged out and have saved all work before 7:00am.

Enabling Forums

User Roles

This feature can be used by the following user role:

  • Centre Manager

Overview

Centre Managers can enable the Forum feature within Onefile Eportfolio. Enabling Forums allows Centres to create discussion spaces for learners, assessors, and other users, depending on which groups are granted access.

Centre Setting

The following Centre Setting controls access to Forums:

  • Enable forum

Steps

How to Enable Forums

  1. Click Centre from the left-hand navigation bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Locate and select the Enable Forum option.
  4. Optionally, restrict access by ticking the user groups you would like to allow (e.g., Assessors, Learners, Employers).
  5. Click Save.

Tips & Notes

  • You can restrict forum access to selected user groups only.
  • Forums can support collaborative learning and Centre‑wide communication.
  • Changes apply immediately once saved.
