Overview
Timesheet entries record the time spent on activities and help calculate the total time and off-the-job percentage.
Learners can also pre-populate timesheets by recording time spent when completing assessments.
Who Can Use This Feature?
This feature can be used by the following user roles:
- Assessor and Trainee
- Learner
Steps to Create a Timesheet Entry
- Open the Learner’s Portfolio.
- Click Timesheets within the Activity tab.
- Click Create Timesheet Entry.
- Enter a Description of the timesheet entry.
- Select the Timesheet Category.
- Select Who the time was spent by.
- Enter the Start date and time and the duration (hours and minutes).
- Click Save.
ℹ️Important Notes
- If you cannot create a timesheet entry, it is likely that Timesheet Categories have not been created. These must be set up by a Centre Manager.
- Learners are reminded that breaks should not be included in the time recorded.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot create entry | Check if Timesheet Categories exist; contact your Centre Manager if not. |
| Incorrect time recorded | Ensure breaks are excluded and duration matches actual activity time. |
